More than anything we want you to find a place of connection. Here are some ways you can do that.
Sunday School for Pre-K — 5th Grade uses the Godly Play curriculum. Godly Play is an imaginative approach to working with children that supports, challenges, nourishes, and helps guide their spiritual journey. Godly Play assumes children have some experience of the mystery of God in their lives, but that they lack the language, permission, and understanding to express and enjoy their spiritual experience in our secular culture. In Godly Play, we enter into parables, sacred stories, silence, and liturgy in order to discover God, ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
Sunday School for grades 6th — 12th grades uses LinC (Living in Christ). It focuses on current events in the U.S. and around the world and then connects those events to the bible. Youth groups for grades 5-12 will meet Sundays from 11:30am-12:30pm in the Youth Room.
United Methodist Men (UMM)
UMM meet for breakfast and fellowship the second Saturday of the month at 8:00 am at Rolling Meadows Restaurant.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
Covenant has two UMW circles that would welcome additional members at any time. You could visit either or both of them to get an idea of our meetings and the mission projects we learn about and support. It’s a wonderful way to learn more and to have some social interaction with friends.
Rachel Circle meets the first Monday of the month in member’s homes. Heritage Circle meets the first Wednesday of the month at 10:45 AM in the choir room. UMW also meets for breakfast and fellowship the fourth Wednesday of the month at 8:00 AM at Faro’s Restaurant.
Small Group Ministry
To grow in community; to become disciples; to transform the world; to grow in faith. A small group meets for Bible study and prayer at 9:30 AM on Wednesdays in the choir room.
